Abstract
Dans le cadre de la programmation des festivités entourant le CCCLXXVe anniversaire de Montréal, les nombreuses histoires des lieux et la pluralité des voix occupant l'espace de la métropole sont mises à l'avant-plan. Si la présence autochtone est important et grandissante à Montréal, l'histoire des premiers peuples demeure pourtant marginalisée. Cette sous-représentation des communautés autochtones semble caractériser une réalité urbaine plus large, nord-américaine. Face à ce contexte, pour les artistes et les chercheurs en arts et lettres notamment, la question suivante se pose : quelle est la place des représentations artistiques autochtones en milieux urbains ?
