Ce séminaire accueille chaque mois un(e) chercheur(e) francophone en sciences humaines et sociales, afin de lui permettre de présenter ses travaux et de préciser ainsi son regard sur la santé. L’idée est de travailler à une réflexion commune sur la santé comme objet d’étude, sur les méthodes permettant de l’aborder et sur l’interdisciplinarité nécessaire à son approche et à sa compréhension globale. En mettant l’accent sur les travaux menés en français, il entend également revendiquer l’importance de la francophonie dans ce champ de recherche en pleine expansion qu’est la santé, et ainsi favoriser sa reconnaissance et son développement dans l’espace universitaire et public québécois.
