This file contains the following materials:(1) Data on barnacle recruit density measured in replicate quadrats at the mid-to-high intertidal zone of wave-exposed habitats at Western Head (Nova Scotia, Canada) at the end of the barnacle recruitment seasons of 2014-2019 and 2021-2024 (10 years).(2) Data on Bakun's upwelling index (BUI) for Western Head averaged for the pelagic larval season of barnacles (April and the first three weeks of May) for each of those 10 years.(3) Data on Bakun's upwelling index (BUI) for Western Head averaged for each day of the pelagic larval season of barnacles (April and the first three weeks of May) for each of those 10 years.
