Abstract
Black and white photo postcard of Old Vanderbilt Hotel located on Burnett Street near steamboat dock. The hotel has posters of "James G. Blaine 5 cent Cigar" on the exterior wall. The old Vanderbilt Hotel on Burnet Street was located next door to Keyworth's Hotel and built by James Murphy in 1814. Mr. Vanderbilt later named the hotel "Bellona" after his steamboat. The hotel stood windowless and forgotten until razed in 1906.
