Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

Heptamaloxyloglucan and Sorbitol, together commercialized as PEL101GV, was applied on Frontenac hybrid grapevines at 60 mg/ha and 100 g/ha respectively, 43 hours prior to a spring frost event in the Montérégie region (Quebec, Canada). In the test plot, the minimum temperature varied between -3.1 oC to -3.7 oC, as measured at the 70 cm shoot's height. The agents were compared to no-treatment in a complete randomized test block with 13 repetitions. The average shoot survival rate was 15.9% and 14.5% for the agent and the no-treatment respectively, but data analysis shows no statistical significance with p = 0.577. Data suggests that shoot survival rate is correlated to the physical position in the field. In the conditions tested, Heptamaloxyloglucan and Sorbitol were not effective at protecting against spring frost.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. The Gemma side is a direct model label for every work in the frame, read from the title-only record. The Codex side is a classifier learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and calibrated to design-weighted sample rates; fields without enough sample support carry no Codex call. Candidate is the union of the two sides; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
