Abstract
Ce tome II porte sur la modélisation du comportement acoustique de l'oreille externe occluse par un protecteur auditif. Il discute en premier lieu des avantages et inconvénients des différents types de modèles, allant du plus simple au plus sophistiqué. Dans un deuxième temps, l’emphase est mise sur l'utilisation de modèles numériques basés sur la méthode des éléments finis. Les étapes de modélisation pour l'oreille externe occluse par des protecteurs auditifs sont décrites pas à pas et des exemples de comparaison entre mesures et calculs pour différents types de protection auditive sont fournis. Enfin les défis associés à la modélisation et des pistes de recherche pour y répondre sont abordés. Il s’adresse aux chercheurs, étudiants et ingénieurs qui veulent approfondir leurs connaissances sur la façon de modéliser et comprendre le comportement acoustique de l'oreille externe occluse par un protecteur auditif.
