<p>Distance to the intersection between basal mantle structures and reconstructed lithosphere thicker than 150 km [<a href="http://www.plosone.org/article/info:doi/10.1371/journal.pone.0268066#pone.0268066.ref005" target="_blank">5</a>] at 120 Ma (<b>A, E</b>), 160 Ma (<b>B, F</b>), 240 Ma (<b>C, G</b>) and 360 Ma (<b>D, F</b>) for tomographic model S40RTS (<b>A-D</b>) and mantle flow model Case 2 (<b>E-H</b>). Continent outlines from ref. [<a href="http://www.plosone.org/article/info:doi/10.1371/journal.pone.0268066#pone.0268066.ref038" target="_blank">38</a>] are shown as transparent white polygons, and kimberlite eruptions sampled in 20 Myr increments from ref.
