Includes ordinances 1-18 (1 February 1864 to 21 December 1864), 1-28 (January to April 1865), 1-17 (January to April 1866), 1-40 (January to April 1867), 1-12 (March to May 1868), 1-26 (December 1868 to March 1869), 1-18 (February to April 1870), 1-24 (January to March 1871). Each volume has a list of ordinances, with short titles, at the front. For a partial table of ordinances before 1871 see The laws of British Columbia, consisting of the acts, ordinances & proclamations of the formerly separate colonies of Vancouver Island and British Columbia, and of the united colony of British Columbia (Victoria, Government Printing Office, 1871).
