L'articolo vuole rendere conto del ruolo del Terzo Settore nell’implementazione delle misure di contrasto alla povertà in Puglia. Nel quadro di un rinnovato interesse, da parte del decisore pubblico, della partecipazione dei cittadini, sia nella forma della partecipazione a organizzazioni di volontariato che di reti civiche, vogliamo studiare come vengono utilizzate le prefigurate opportunità di collaborazione, in ossequio al principio di sussidiarietà, richiamate da recenti strumenti legislativi regionali, anche in affiancamento a strumenti di politica sociale. Come evidenziato da ricerche svolte, in particolare, in due delle sei province pugliesi, le caratteristiche di alcune organizzazioni di Terzo Settore, quali la strutturazione e la disponibilità di personale anche non volontario, le rendono maggiormente disponibili a cogliere queste opportunità di collaborazione.
