Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

Dactylorhiza viridis (L.) R.M.Bateman, Pridgeon & M.W.Chase is an inconspicuous, greenish orchid that is widespread and has a circumboreal distribution. It also classified as belonging to a separate genus Coeloglossum as Coeloglossum viride (L.) Hartm. Evidence from analysis of single genes suggested that the genus Coeloglossum should be synonymized with Dactylorhiza, there is still discussion about the taxonomic status. Dactylorhiza viridis can be found throughout Europe, non-tropical Asia, Canada and the United States. It is preferably found in ancient chalk grassland, meadows, montane grasslands and light woods. In Komi Republic it occurs in swamps, forest and on limestone outcrops along river banks. In the mountains, D. viridis was revealed in the mountain meadow communities and mountain tundra. Flowering is in June-July, fruiting in July-August. The data set contains data on the distribution of Dactylorhiza viridis (L.) R.M.Bateman, Pridgeon & M.W.Chase (Orchidaceae) in the Komi Republic, located in the European North-East Russia. In total, 287 localities of D. viridis have been found within the borders of the Komi Republic, including 240 herbarium specimens and 47 occurrence records. The herbarium specimens are stored in the Herbarium of the Institute of Biology of Komi Scientific Centre of the Ural Branch RAS (SYKO). The dataset includes 287 records. Most of the occurrences’ descriptions included the following fields: "occurrenceID", "institutionCode", "basisOfRecord", "DatasetName", "eventDate", "year", "month", "day", "scientificName", "higherClassification", "kingdom", "phylum", "class", "order", "family", "genus", "specificEpithet", "scientificNameAuthorship", "taxonRank", "identifiedBy", "dateIdentified", "decimalLatitude", "decimalLongitude", "geodeticDatum", "coordinateUncertaintyInMeters", "verbatimCoordinateSystem", "georeferencedBy", "georeferencedDate", "continent", "country", "countryCode", "stateProvince", "county", "verbatimLocality", "language", "license", "collectionCode", "catalogNumber", "recordedBy", "otherCatalogNumbers", "associatedMedia". The work was carried out with the financial support of the project «Herbarium funds of the biological diversity of plants and fungi of the Collection Fund of the Komarov Botanical Institute, Russian Academy of Sciences: modernization, development and networking as a basis for fundamental research and improvement of genetic technologies» (Agreement No. 075-15-2021-1056 dated 09/28/2021).

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. The Gemma side is a direct model label for every work in the frame, read from the title-only record. The Codex side is a classifier learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and calibrated to design-weighted sample rates; fields without enough sample support carry no Codex call. Candidate is the union of the two sides; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
