Abstract
A Terapia Ocupacional (TO) é uma profissão da área da saúde que, entre outros objetivos, preocupa-se em promover a saúde e o bem estar de indivíduos ou grupos através e nas suas ocupações da vida cotidiana (WFOT, 2013). A promoção de saúde, conforme descrito na Carta de Ottawa (1986), tem como objetivo central o favorecimento e capacitação do indivíduo sobre o entendimento e cuidados quanto a sua própria saúde. Entre os diferentes públicos que participam de ações da terapia ocupacional no campo da promoção de saúde, neste trabalho direcionamos a atenção para os adolescentes. A Organização Mundial de Saúde caracteriza a adolescência como uma “janela de oportunidade” para o desenvolvimento de ações de promoção da saúde que podem ter repercussões em toda trajetória de vida (WHO et al., 2019).A efetivação deste cuidado integral, em um contexto marcado pela complexidade, exige dos diferentes profissionais que atuam com o público adolescente, inclusive de terapeutas ocupacionais, a construção de ações também marcadas pela multiplicidade de objetivos, recursos, estratégias e referenciais teóricos-metodológicos. Considerando este contexto, este projeto de iniciação científica se delineia a partir da seguinte pergunta de pesquisa: Como é a atuação da Terapia Ocupacional com adolescentes no campo da promoção de saúde? Assim, tem-se como objetivo geral descrever a produção de conhecimento sobre as ações da terapia ocupacional no campo da promoção de saúde com adolescentes publicada no período de 2013 a 2022.
