Abstract
No abstracts are to be cited without prior reference to the author.We have compared and objectively analyzed hydrological observations for the North Atlantic Ocean. Our purpose is the study of the temporal variability of water mass characteristics in the intermediate and deep layers of the North Atlantic Ocean which are important elements of the Meridional Overturning Circulation (MOC). The intensity of MOC depends on the transport of Deep Water from the Arctic Ocean and it is opposite in phase by intensity of Labrador Sea Water forming. In present time the structure of the MOC is changing, the low limb of the MOC intensifies by influence of volume increasing of the Denmark Strait Overflow Water (DSOW) and decreasing of the LSW volume.
