Abstract
La campagne s'inscrit dans le cadre du programme EXTRAPLAC, pour l'extension du plateau continental juridique.Les données sismiques et bathymétriques de la campagne Noucaplac-2 sont destinées à confirmer la continuité des structures, tout particulièrement la ride de Lord Howe, leurs natures et les épaisseurs sédimentaires rencontrées ainsi que préciser le pied de talus du bassin de Nouvelle Calédonie.A l'ouest de la Calédonie, les profils traversent la bassin de Nouvelle Calédonie, la ride et le bassin de Fairway et la ride de Lord Howe.Au sud, les profils recoupent également la ride de Norfolk, la ride et le bassin des Loyauté.Les résultats de la campagne permettront de justifier les revendications du plateau continental juridique
