Abstract
Entre el 30 de agosto y el 5 de septiembre de 1970, se realizó en Munich, Alemania, el Octavo Congreso de la Asociación Internacional de Ciencia Política, que está clasificada entre las organizaciones internacionales no gubernativas, de acuerdo con la UNESCO, y en tre los órganos de consulta del Comité Económico y Social, por la Organización de las Naciones Unidas. En el momento del Congreso, la Asociación estaba presidida por el profesor Carl J. Friedrich (que en seña actualmente en Estados Unidos de América) c incluía en su Comité Ejecutivo a los Profesores Aba dán (de Turquía), Finer (de Gran Bretaña), Tchik- vadze (de la Unión Soviética), Freymont (de Suiza), Grosser (de Francia), Laponce (de Canadá), Mazrui (de Uganda), Moulin (de Bélgica), Ogata (de Ja pón), Ramney (de Estados Unidos), Rasmussen (de Dinamarca), Sontheimer (de Alemania), Viora (de Italia) y Wiatr (de Polonia). El Secretario General era el Doctor André Philippart, de Bélgica.
