Aby Warburg architetto. Nota sui progetti per la Kulturwissenschaftliche Bibliothek Warburg ad Amburgo
Bibliographic record
Abstract
In an upmarket quarter of Hamburg, blending perfectly into the surrounding middle-class houses, the Kulturwissenschaftliche Bibliothek Warburg still rises to this day. In the intentions of Aby Warburg, the building was to become the point of reference for History of Art scholars from the recently formed University of Hamburg, as well as the experimental laboratory to put the new methodological approach that he developed into practice. The composition of the space reflects this very method of working and is the result of a collaboration between Fritz Schumacher – the greatest architect in Hamburg at that time – and Aby Warburg, who supervised the project in every detail. From 1925, the responsability for the construction was officially passed to Gerhard Langmaak who, negotiating every decision with Warburg, realised further changes to the project and brought the building to conclusion. The heart of the Library, the elliptical reading and seminar room, reflects Warburg’s Weltanschauung. The library re-opened after a long renovation period that gave this institution back to the city again.

Teacher imitationNot calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)
The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.
Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
score_only:v0-immature-baseline · verbatim from the scoring run: score_only means the number may rank works, and no category label ships from itClassification
machine, unvalidatedMachine predicted; both teacher heads agree on what is shown here.
