Prizren ist eine alte Stadt mit historischen und architektonischen Werten und die Idee ist die Wiederherstellung dieser alten traditionellen Architektur unter den Denkmalschutz Vorschriften. Diese aus den Jahren 1934 alte Häuser befinden sich im Stadtzentrum es wird auch als historischen Bezirk genannt. Der letzte Krieg in den Jahren 1998-1999 hat viele diesen Gebäuden zerstört. In diesem Block oder Einheit befinden sich heute 17 alte Häuser von einem Teil davon alles, was geblieben ist, sind Ruinen. Manche Häuser sind absturzgefährdet manche dagegen nicht, aber die wichtigsten architektonischen Merkmale der alten Zeiten sind sehr stark beschädigt. Moderne Häuser werden immer wieder gebaut diese enthalten leider keine Elemente der Tradition.
