Abstract

The Insite Pacific Mini Zeus HD Camera on BOOTS was deployed on 2019-07-16 on BOOTS. This Towed Unmanned Submersible is called the Bathyal Ocean Observation and Televideo System, owned by Fisheries and Oceans Canada. This device is a Towed Camera System. Towed camera systems have many applications. The ability to capture video and still imagery makes them ideal for marine benthic monitoring, as well as other ocean surveys that require consistent transect imaging of the seafloor. It was deployed on a mobile platform. Data from this deployment were archived and made available through Ocean Networks Canada's Oceans 3.0 digital infrastructure, with quality assurance and derived data products following established practices.
