Pemphigus pedunculi Hartig, 1841 Pemphigus pedunculi Hartig, 1841: 367. SYNTYPES: 3 (1757 [4.26]; field no. missing [4.27, 4.28]), Q uercus. Thelaxes dryophila (Schrank, 1801) (senior synonym—Börner, 1952: 181, “? Pemphigus pedunculi Htg. 1841 ”). Valid Specimens. One damaged alate (1757) mounted on a point, and two pinned apterae without labels. Specimen 1757 was collected from the shoots of oak on October 15, 1836 in Tiergarten, Berlin, Germany. Remarks. Börner (1952) expressed uncertainty about the synonymy of Pemphigus pedunculi Hartig, 1841 with Thelaxes dryophila (Schrank, 1801). Confirmation of the synonymy with T. dryophila is needed.
