USA: AK, IL, IA, MA, ME, MI, MN, NH, NY. France: St. Pierre and Miquelon. Russia (eastern). China (northeastern). Collection and Habitat data. In NH captured in litter and taken by a FIT. Collected in April–May and September. Elsewhere found in tamarack (Larix laricina (Du Roi)) and black spruce (Picea mariana (Mill.) B.S.P.)) bogs, marshy pond and lake margins, cattail/ Carex marshes, and marshy margins of slow flowing rivers. Adults usually found in Carex hummocks, moist to wet Sphagnum with Carex, and in saturated marsh vegetation (Klimaszewski et al. 2021). Material.
