USA: AL, AR, AZ, CA, CO, CT, DC, FL, GA, IA, IL, IN, KS, KY, LA, MA, ME, MD, MI, MN, MO, NC, NE, NH, NJ, NY, OH, OK, PA, RI, SC, TN, TX, VA, VT, WV, WI. Collection and Habitat data. NH specimens were captured sparingly in May, July, and September; a window trap collected one specimen. Elsewhere found mainly in open habitats, in human feces, and at animal carcasses such as fish, deer, possum, snake, and skunk (Klimaszewski 1984, Klimaszewski et al. 2018). Material.
