Abstract
Resumo: Mancais de rolamentos são elementos essenciais para o funcionamento de equipamentos rotativos aplicados em cargasdinâmicas com médios esforços, sendo a lubrificação elemento fundamental para a continuidade operacional dos mancais. Em locais onde a agressividade do meio éprejudicial a continuidade doprocesso de lubrificação, como exemplo plantas de produção defertilizantesgranuladosNPK, sigla que representa Nitrogênio, Fósforo e Potássio, que possuemalto grau de agressividade devido a umidade, seu Ph ácido que favorece a condições de corrosão interferindodiretamente no MTBF, mean time between failures, de rolamentos expostos a esse meio, sendo capaz muitas vezes de proporcionar prematuramente falha de lubrificação dos mancais. Análises como a qualidade dos lubrificantes empregados, verificação dos intervalos de lubrificação empregando técnica de análise de falhas e recomendações dos fabricantes dos equipamentos são elementos imprescindíveis dentro da gestão de confiabilidade dos ativos da empresa.
