State of in-situ stress and implications for fault slip potential in the Montney Play, Western Canada
Bibliographic record
Abstract
These are datasets used for the paper "State of in-situ stress and implications for fault slip potential in the Montney Play, Western Canada". The following three Excel files are the pore pressure, the DFIT closure pressure, and sonic logging data location information. 1. "Pore pressure measurement.xlsx", the Montney Formation pore pressure measurement data.2. "DFIT closure pressure.xlsx", the Montney Formation DFIT closure pressure data.3. "Data points for Montney Formation areal in-situ stress calculations and maps.xlsx", well location data points, including the estimated vertical stress and elastic properties at the point location. The UWIs for the data points in the above three files are not included but are available upon request. Grid values of horizontal strain correction factors are included in the following four files. "Epsilon_H_Max_LB.txt", "Epsilon_H_Max_UB.txt", "Epsilon_h_min_LB.txt", "Epsilon_h_min_UB.txt". The fields in each file: Longitude, Latitude, and Epsilon (mm/m).LB = the lower bound of the maximum horizontal stress case;UB = the upper bound of the maximum horizontal stress case;H_Max = along the maximum horizontal stress direction; h_min = along the minimum horizontal stress direction. The grid values of pressure and in-situ stresses for respectively the Commingled Montney, Upper Mopntney, Middle & Lower Montney are compiled in three zip files: "Grid value of pressure and stress_Montney_Commingled.zip", "Grid value of pressure and stress_Montney_U.zip", and "Grid value of pressure and stress_Montney_ML.zip". "Grid value of pressure and stress_Montney_Commingled.zip" includes:P0.txt, pore pressure gradient, kPa/m;Pc.txt, closure pressure gradient, kPa/m;Sigma_h.txt, minimum horizontal stress gradient, kPa/m;Sigma_LB.txt, lower bound of the maximum horizontal stress gradient, kPa/m;Sigma_UB.txt, upper bound of the maximum horizontal stress gradient, kPa/m;Sigma_v.txt, vertical stress, kPa/m;A_phi_LB.txt, Anderson fault parameter using the lower bound of the maximum horizontal stress;A_phi_UB.txt, Anderson fault parameter using the upper bound of the maximum horizontal stress;Sigma_v-Sigma_h.txt, differential stress between the vertical and the minimum horizontal stress, MPa;Sigma_H_L-Sigma_v.txt, differential stress between the lower bound of the maximum horizontal and the vertical stress, MPa;Sigma_H_U-Sigma_v.txt, differential stress between the upper bound of the maximum horizontal and the vertical stress, MPa. "Grid value of pressure and stress_Montney_U.zip" includes:P0.txt, pore pressure gradient, kPa/m;Pc.txt, closure pressure gradient, kPa/m;Sigma_h.txt, minimum horizontal stress gradient, kPa/m;Sigma_LB.txt, lower bound of the maximum horizontal stress gradient, kPa/m;Sigma_UB.txt, upper bound of the maximum horizontal stress gradient, kPa/m;Sigma_v.txt, vertical stress, kPa/m. "Grid value of pressure and stress_Montney_ML.zip" includes:P0.txt, pore pressure gradient, kPa/m;Pc.txt, closure pressure gradient, kPa/m;Sigma_h.txt, minimum horizontal stress gradient, kPa/m;Sigma_LB.txt, lower bound of the maximum horizontal stress gradient, kPa/m;Sigma_UB.txt, upper bound of the maximum horizontal stress gradient, kPa/m;Sigma_v.txt, vertical stress, kPa/m.
Fetched live from OpenAlex and de-inverted. Abstracts are not stored in this database: the inverted indexes are 8.6 GB of the frame’s 9.3 GB of text, and the host has 13 GB free.

Full frame machine prediction
Teacher imitationNot calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. The Gemma side is a direct model label for every work in the frame, read from the title-only record. The Codex side is a classifier learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and calibrated to design-weighted sample rates; fields without enough sample support carry no Codex call. Candidate is the union of the two sides; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels.

Machine scores (provisional)
The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.
Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
score_only:v0-immature-baseline · verbatim from the scoring run: score_only means the number may rank works, and no category label ships from itClassification
machine, unvalidatedMachine predicted; a candidate call from one source (direct Gemma or distilled Codex), not a consensus.
