Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

The GUTTA kick-off (KO) consisted of two linked but separate events: a public opening conference and an internal meeting. Both took place in Lecce, Italy, from March 6 to 8, 2019. Scope of the public conference was to provide a broader framework into which forthcoming GUTTA project activities will be placed and to establish links with other European Projects. Scope of the internal meeting was to present Project Partners’ expertise, to critically review WP activities, and to provide information for project day-to-day management, financial reporting and internal communication, as well as taking decisions and actions for the initial implementation activities of GUTTA. Participation of several high school students (to the public conference) and an EMSA representative (to both public conference and internal meeting) enriched the outreach and the productivity of the KO. In the Annex to this report, the letter sent by EMSA Executive Director to the GUTTA Coordinator stating the availability to be part of the GUTTA Advisory Board is attached.

Fetched live from OpenAlex and de-inverted. Abstracts are not stored in this database: the inverted indexes are 8.6 GB of the frame’s 9.3 GB of text, and the host has 13 GB free.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
