Abstract
La théorie du records continuum est une adaptation de la théorie archivistique à la philosophie postmoderniste. Le continuum marque un changement des régimes de temporalités à l’échelle macro-sociétale vers une conception postmoderne de la notion du temps. L’article montre que l’on assiste à une délinéarisation du temps vers une vision cyclique, où la mise en archives n’est plus un processus linéaire et fini, mais un processus infini toujours en construction. L’article conclut que l’archive est un objet socialement construit et est toujours un processus toujours en devenir.
