Psychoda alternata Say: del Rosario (1936, in part, female). Syn. Psychoda quadesiana Vaillant, 1963b: 211. Type locality: Afghanistan, Quades, au sud de Qual’eh Nahou. Additional references: Wagner (1991). Tinearia lativentris (Berdén, 1952): Ježek (1984, listed), Wagner (1991, Palaearctic catalogue), Ježek & Goutner (1995, Greece record), Ježek & Barták (2000, Czech record), Ježek & Yagci (2005, Turkey record). Psychoda (Tinearia) lativentris Berdén: Bravo et al. (2006b). General distributio n. Palaearctic (Wagner, 1991), Nearctic (Quate 1955), Mexico, Nicaragua (Collantes & Martínez-Ortega 1999b). This species has Holarctic distribution, with records in Canada and the United States of America (Quate 1955). Distribution in Mexic o. Ciudad de México (formerly Distrito Federal (Ibáñez-Bernal 2008)), Estado de México (Quate 1959b).
