Abstract
The purpose of the Survey on Official Languages (2003) is to gauge the importance Canadians place on learning French or English as a second language, and to determine how important Canadians think learning language is to being successful in life. The survey also explores Canadians views on the importance of learning other second languages. The national sample for this survey contains 2002 respondents.
