La journée d’étude « Impacts de la pandémie sur la pauvreté au Québec » vise à alimenter un débat critique sur le thème de la pauvreté en examinant comment elle est pensée, vécue et traitée en contexte de covid-19. Elle entend susciter des discussions autour d’initiatives de recherches et d’actions publiques afin de mieux comprendre les usages sociaux de la pauvreté, comme conditions de vie, objet de connaissance, mobile de revendications et cible de politiques publiques. Il propose de réunir des chercheurs et des acteurs du milieu autour du thème de la pauvreté dans le but d’examiner comment elle est pensée, vécue et traitée en contexte de covid-19 par les individus, les ménages, et les acteurs de l’assistance (les communautés, les États, les organismes humanitaires ou caritatifs).
