En perros, está documentado que el consumo de ajo (Allium sativum) y cebolla (Allium cepa) provoca estrés oxidativo en los eritrocitos, resultando en anemia hemolítica; El siguiente caso clínico descrito detalla los efectos provocados en la paciente Luna, una mestizo de labrador de 10 meses de edad, cuya dieta base de croquetas, fue complementada con (Allium sativum) y cebolla (Allium cepa), en donde se hablará de sus mecanismos y dosis tóxicas
