Abstract
In this paper we present the first results of a research with the objective “To know the level of mathematical knowledge of the students that begin the Teacher's Titles”. The study has had two phases. The first one, that what we comment here, was carried out in the first quarter of the course 2000-2001, as a pilot study, by means of which a questionnaire that was applied to students of the specialties of Primary Education, Musical Education and Foreign Language was ready. In view of the obtained results, we select a second questionnaire that it has been applied to two other specialties. The final objective of this work is to elaborate a program of Mathematics for the plan of studies of Teacher that take into account the real knowledge of the level of the students and that allows that they develop positive attitudes.
