Modelos descritivos do comportamento dinâmico de eixos trincados são bastantes estudados, considerando a importância da identificação prematura de trincas para diminuir riscos de acidentes e prejuízos com máquinas rotativas. Neste trabalho é feita a avaliação de um dos modelos mais utilizados para o estudo de rotores com eixos trincados, considerando a influência da incerteza sobre os parâmetros deste modelo. É analisada a sensibilidade da resposta do modelo, considerando incertezas nos parâmetros definidores, a saber: amortecimento, velocidade de rotação, desbalanceamento, geometria da trinca, bem como erros experimentais na medição da resposta do sistema. A função de densidade de probabilidade de cada parâmetro aleatório foi definida usando-se o princípio da entropia máxima e a resposta aleatória do sistema estocástico obtida usando-se simulação de Monte-Carlo. O modelo determinístico adotado possui dois graus de liberdade e considera um rotor de De Laval com trinca respirante. São apresentadas as equações básicas do modelo adotado e os resultados obtidos. Estes resultados permitem avaliar a eficiência do modelo usado para a identificação da presença de trincas em eixos rotativos e a influência dessa trinca no comportamento vibratório da estrutura em face da ordem de grandeza das incertezas envolvidas.
