Abstract
Considéré comme l’un des plus grands intellectuels du Québec, le sociologue et philosophe Fernand Dumont (1927-1997) a enseigné durant sa carrière à l’Université Laval, en plus de fonder l’Institut québécois de recherche sur la culture dont il a été le président et directeur scientifique de 1979 à 1990. Chercheur rigoureux ouvert à l’interdisciplinarité et intellectuel engagé dans la cité, Fernand Dumont a exercé une influence considérable sur le Québec de son époque tout en bénéficiant d’une réputation à l’échelle internationale. Ses écrits sont multiples et son œuvre, considérable, tant au niveau théorique qu’en rapport avec la société québécoise. \n \nIl convenait de réunir, sous forme d’une bibliographie générale, l’ensemble de ses écrits et des entrevues qu’il a données : livres, ouvrages en collaboration, articles scientifiques et généraux, entrevues transcrites ou sur bande vidéo, etc. Par ailleurs, la réception de son œuvre, déjà importante de son vivant, continue de faire l’objet de colloques et d’écrits les plus divers. \n \nCette bibliographie générale est divisée en quatre sections : 1- Œuvres de Fernand Dumont : classement systématique par type de publication et par ordre chronologique, 2- Études sur l’œuvre de Fernand Dumont, 3- Œuvres de Fernand Dumont : classement thématique, 4- Rayon nement institutionnel et intellectuel. On trouvera également en annexe les principaux repères biographiques concernant la carrière de Fernand Dumont. Un index des auteurs et des noms cités complète le tout. \n \nAu total, cette bibliographie comprend 1 422 entrées.
