ABSTRACTThe tourism is one of the fundamental pillars on which the economy of the Dominican Republic is sustained, being recognized in the international market for its offer of sun and beach. However, having this economic relevance does not necessarily provide information about the community's own opinion about tourism and the impact it has on their lives. For this reason, the objective of this article is to analyze the opinion that a specific group of the community has about the characteristics and development of the Dominican tourist product, as well as the qualification that they make on different aspects related to the destination. In addition, it analyzes their opinion in relation to a possible increase of the tourist development, and some elements of their sociodemographic profile. Specifically, field work has been carried out in the eastern part of the country, based on questionnaires addressed to students of the Tourism and Hotel Management Administration of Universidad Iberoamericana [UNIBE] in its Cap Cana campus. This group is very interesting, since they are a fundamental part of the future tourist business of the country.KEY WORDSTourism. Touristic development. Dominican University Students. Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. The Gemma side is a direct model label for every work in the frame, read from the title-only record. The Codex side is a classifier learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and calibrated to design-weighted sample rates; fields without enough sample support carry no Codex call. Candidate is the union of the two sides; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
