Why this work is in the frame

A frame that forgets how it found something cannot be audited. These are the routes that admitted this work.

aboutThe title or abstract carries a Canadian signal from the geographic lexicon.
no affNo Canadian affiliation: this work is invisible to an affiliation-only frame.
No Canadian affiliation. An affiliation-only frame, the usual design, would never have seen this work. It is one of the works that make the case for inverting the frame.

Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

"Let Her Be" was the original name of this Canadian sidewheeler built at Liverpool, England in 1864. She was built as a blockade runner under the name "Chicora" for the Confederate States of America in the Civil War but arrived too late for this service and was sold to Canadian parties after the war. She was cut in two to pass the locks of the St. Lawrence River and Welland Canal and rebuilt in 1868 at Buffalo, New York for passenger service (with upper cabins added) between Collingwood and Port Arthur, Ontario for the Collingwood and Lake Superior Line. She took a prominent part in transportation of the Wolsey Expedition (British troops) in 1870 to stop the Northwest Rebellion at Red River. She then went to Niagara Nav. Co., Lake Ontario, in 1878 and was highly popular in that service for almost 50 years running from Toronto to St. Lawrence River and Lewiston, Niagara and Ontario. She sank at dock in Toronto on Oct. 27, 1919 but was raised and rebuilt as a barge and renamed "Warrenko", carrying coal on Lake Ontario until the 1940s.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
