En la investigación presente se buscó determinar si existía una relación entre comprensión lectora y estrés escolar en los alumnos, de primaria de una institución educativa, Huaura 2022. Su metodología fue el enfoque cuantitativo, es una investigación de tipo básico, con un nivel correlacional, con un diseño no experimental, compuesta por un grupo poblacional de 120 alumnos del 4to, 5to y 6to de nivel primaria. Se presentó una muestra definida con 93 estudiantes, que fueron seleccionados a través de un muestreo no probabilístico intencional. Se efectuó la aplicación de una encuesta; y como instrumento utilizado fue el cuestionario aplicado a los estudiantes. Los resultados muestran una relación moderada de tendencia negativa entre ambas variables, comprensión lectora y estrés escolar de la prueba (rho=-528; p < 0,05) Se concluye correlación estadísticamente significativa entre la comprensión lectora y el estrés escolar, lo que sugiere que los factores estresantes se relacionan con comprensión lectora en todos los niveles. resumiendo, que, a mayor comprensión lectora, disminuye el estrés escolar.
