Abstract
Märchen aus aller Welt: Die vorliegende Sammlung bringt Märchen aus der ganzen Welt zusammen. Der Autor hat aus verschiedenen Quellen nacherzählt und teilweise abgewandelt, indem er Themen und Motive aufgegriffen und manchmal anders verknüpft, gekürzt oder sprachlich neu gestaltet hat. Entstanden ist daraus eine bunte Mischung an Geschichten aus Europa, Asien oder Nord- und Mittelamerika. Die Geschichten erzählen von den Wandlungen der Menschen, die durch die unternommenen Reisen dem Unbekannten begegnen. Sie bringen uns Denkweise und Weisheit anderer Kulturen wie die der Inuit, der Indianer oder der Völker in Afrika, im Nahen oder Fernen Osten näher. Sprachlich sind sie gut verständlich, lesen sich flüssig und eignen sich von der Länge her gut zum Vorlesen. Manchmal wirken sie aber auch etwas 'geglättet', da ihnen der Klang fremdländischer Würze (im Orient heisst Gott nun mal Allah!) fehlt. Die etwas kindlichen Collagen illustrieren die Geschichten mit leuchtenden Farben. Ab 8 Jahren, ***, Denise Racine.
