Abstract
Opinnäytetyössä Dokumenttielokuvan tekoprosessi perehdytään dokumenttielokuvan tekemisen kaareen aina ideasta valmiiseen lopputuotteeseen. Opinnäytetyössä ei perehdytä dokumenttielokuvan levittämiseen. Perehtyminen dokumenttielokuvan kaareen tapahtuu opinnäytetyön multimediatuotteena tehdyn Aikamme gladiaattorit –dokumenttielokuvan kautta. Olin vastuussa elokuvan tekoprosessin jokaisesta vaiheesta. \n \nAikamme gladiaattorit kertoo ammattipainista. Siinä yritetään selvittää mitä ammattipaini on, mikä katsojia siinä kiehtoo ja millainen on sen historia maailmalla ja Suomessa. Dokumenttielokuvani toimeksiantajana toimi Suomen johtava ammattipainipromootio Fight Club Finland. \n \nTekoprosessin vaiheet ovat: ideasta ennakkotutkimukseen, käsikirjoittaminen, kuvausvaihe ja jälkityövaihe. Ensimmäinen vaihe sisältää synopsiksen laatimisen, lähdemateriaaliin tutustumisen, kuvauspaikkojen ja sopivien henkilöiden etsimisen. Kuvasvaiheessa perehdytään dokumenttielokuvan ohjaamiseen ja kuvasuunnitteluun sekä tyyliin. Jälkityövaiheeseen kuuluvat leikkaus, äänileikkaus sekä musiikki. \n \nLisäksi opinnäytetyössä käsitellään myös sitä, mikä on dokumenttielokuva, ja millaista on dokumenttielokuvan käsikirjoittaminen. \n \nViimeisessä kappaleessa teen yhteenvedon dokumenttielokuvastani. Elokuvassani on tiettyjä ongelmia ja monet asiat olisin voinut tehdä paremmin, mutta kokonaisuudessaan olen kuitenkin tyytyväinen lopputulokseen, kuten oli myös toimeksiantajanikin.
