Abstract
Hexanal is a plant derived volatile and hexanal based technologies have been found to can delay senescence in fruit and ensure longer shelf-life. These studies assessed the impact of hexanal formulation (US Patent # 6,514,914; 7, 198,811)) on fruit choice behaviour of spotted wing drosophila (SWD) for strawberries and blueberries and oviposition efficacy on blueberries at three fruit maturity stages (early, mid and late). Volatiles profiles released from blueberries and strawberries at three fruit maturity stages and their quality parameters were assessed. Hexanal formulation treatment was neither attractive nor repellant to SWD for the three fruit maturity stages in either fruit. There also was no effect on SWD oviposition and adult emergence on three blueberry maturity stages. My results suggest that hexanal formulation was not attractive to SWD so growers should not be concerned about applying it in the field in an effort to delay senescence of fruit.

Full frame distilled prediction
Teacher imitationNot calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)
The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.
Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
score_only:v0-immature-baseline · verbatim from the scoring run: score_only means the number may rank works, and no category label ships from it
