Se realiza es estudio numérico de algunas estadísticas de la turbulencia de un flujo compresible pasando a través de una tobera De Laval con una condición de entrada de presión oscilante. Para esto, se utiliza el software de código abierto OpenFOAM. Se hace la validación del solucionador rhoCentralFoam para flujo supersónico en condiciones similares a las reportadas en trabajos experimentales. Se diseña el modelo numérico con un dominio bidimensional y las condiciones iniciales y de frontera que se aproximan más a lo reportado experimentalmente. La validación de este modelo frente a los datos reportados muestra variaciones inferiores al 1 % para la condición de flujo críticamente expandido. Las simulaciones en condiciones de flujo sobre-expandido muestra una variación mayor en la medida en que disminuye el valor del NPR. Se observa la asimetría de las ondas de choque en la sección divergente de la tobera para valores de NPR muy bajos, efecto que ha sido reportado experimentalmente por otros autores. Al realizar simulaciones con dominio tridimensional no se logra establecer el ancho del dominio adecuado debido a la falta de mayores recursos computacionales. Sin embargo, las estadísticas de la turbulencia mantienen el comportamiento de las simulaciones bidimensionales. Al imponer una condición de presión oscilante a la entrada se observa un incremento en la turbulencia principalmente en la sección de la tobera donde inicia la parte divergente, despues de la garganta. El análisis del efecto de la compresibilidad en la turbulencia muestra que este se puede despreciar para el caso de estudio. La hipótesis de Morkovin no se cumple para este caso dado que al aplicar la transformada de Van Driest el comportamiento del flujo compresible turbulento no se ajusta a uno incompresible similar. Las curvas de lo valores de los RMS muestran un comportamiento típico. En forma similar a lo observado por otros autores, el aumento de la sección divergente de la tobera lleva a una mitigación de la turbulencia en esta sección.
