Abstract
Esta tesis doctoral, “Especialistas religiosos en sociedades preestatales”, aspira a comprender mejor el papel sociopolítico de los especialistas religiosos en contextos ajenos a la constitución de estructuras estatales. Se reivindica con ello la importancia del análisis de los fenómenos religiosos como hechos históricos y se dé a la antropología una importancia fundamental a la hora de abordar este tipo de investigaciones. Aquí se procede a la composición de un sólido marco teórico y metodológico que facilite afrontar este tipo de investigaciones.
