Abstract
Given the need to promote investment in Actopan, Veracruz, the main objective of this research is to obtain a profitability that positively impacts its economy and support the universal action plan of the 2030 agenda, in SDG no.8; The analysis methodology that defines the research combines exploratory and descriptive characteristics, for the collection of information and for the description of the target market. Thus, the present work consists of the design of a strategy for the marketing of fried taro to Vancouver, Canada, obtained through the analysis of the international market through the review and establishment of tariff regulations, restrictions, documents and export procedures, terms of international negotiation, contracts and applicable payment methods to, finally, define a penetration strategy in the Canadian market. The main result of the research will point to the need to develop a strategic and business plan, thus having clarity of compliance with export regulatory requirements to reach the Canadian market. The general conclusion indicates that, in the Mexican export of merchandise, there are opportunities to boost foreign trade by taking advantage of the certainty offered by the Agreement between Mexico, the United States and Canada (T-MEC).
