Key statisticsIn the quarter October -December 2013, 22,600 certificates were issued for higher level qualifications, a decline of 16 per cent compared with 27,050 in October -December 2012.The number of available qualifications declined, from 2,647 qualifications in July -September 2013 to 2,598 this quarter (a 2 per cent decrease).The decline was in all types of qualifications except those in the Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF) and vocationally related qualifications.
