Rabbi Kaplan For years, Laura Duhan Kaplan was a successful professor of philosophy. In 2001, she was named U.S. Professor of the Year by the Carnegie Foundation. But something was missing from her work and she found it in her spiritual calling. Now a rabbi, Laura Duhan Kaplan works at a synagogue in Vancouver, Canada. This week, she's in town visiting the Center for Practical and Professional Ethics at Sacramento State. Today on Insight, you'll meet her. Murder Mystery A former local television reporter has written a new political murder mystery set at the California Capitol in Sacramento. Steve Swatt tells you about his novel "Fair, Balanced and Dead." 'Arranged Marriage' There's a Bollywood-style play running at Sacramento Theatre Company this month. It's a revival of a hit created at STC called "Arranged Marriage." It's based on the writings of India-born author Chitra Banerjee Divakaruni. The play follows a young woman from Calcutta from her arranged marriage through her new life in America. You'll meet the director and two of the stars. "Arranged Marriage" runs through March 28th at the Sacramento Theatre Company, 1419 H St., Sacramento. Performances are at 6:30 p.m. Wednesdays; 12:30 and 8 p.m. Thursdays; 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays; and 2 p.m. Sundays and Mondays. Information: (916) 443-6722. Atari Party Pac-Man, Space Invaders and Pong are just a few of the hundreds of classic games are featured in a video game festival this weekend in Davis. It's called Atari Party after the company that pioneered the industry. You'll hear about it.
