Abstract
La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo determinar los niveles de intereses profesionales y ocupacionales en estudiantes de educación secundaria de una institución educativa pública de Lima metropolitana. La investigación es de tipo descriptivo y estuvo conformada por una muestra de 44 estudiantes de sexo femenino. Se aplicó el instrumento CASM 83 R – 2014, quinta edición del Dr. Luis Alberto Vicuña Peri, la cual mide los tipos de intereses vocacionales en los adolescentes, se identificó la media, frecuencia y porcentaje de las once áreas vocacionales, teniendo como tendencia sobresaliente la indecisión. Asimismo; las áreas que presentan un gran índice de indecisión al 100% son: ciencias sociales, burocracia, ciencias económicas y políticas Continuando con el área de ciencias naturales, se obtuvo un resultado de 95.5% de indecisos y sólo un 4.5% de interés.
