Abstract
En el presente trabajo se describe la puesta en servicio y consideraciones a tomar para la instalación de un grupo electrógeno y su respectivo tablero de transferencia de transición cerrada, que para este caso será el de tipo "cerrada momentánea". El caso de estudio se sitúa para una estación base de telefonía celular ubicada en el Oxapampa, Paseo. Para el desarrollo del informe se recurre a los documentos técnicos de los equipos. También el informe se apoya en las diversas normas existentes en la materia, básicamente las normas NFPA (National Fire Protection Association), NEMA (National Electrical Manufacturers Association), IEC (lnternational Electrotechnical Committee), ISO (lnternational Organization for Standardization), CSA (Canadian Standards Association), NEC (National Electrical Code), UL (Underwriters Laboratories), y el CNE (Código Nacional de Electricidad). El informe se divide en cuatro capítulos principales y sus respectivos anexos. Se desarrollan los aspectos técnicos y normativos relacionados a los grupos electrógenos y a los tableros de transferencia, se expone la metodología para la instalación y puesta en servicio de un generador de energía con tablero de transferencia automática de transición cerrada, y se presenta un caso de estudio sobre la instalación y puesta en servicio y las consideraciones para un generador accionado por motor diesel operando en modo standby con un sistema de respaldo de energía con transferencia automática cerrada.
