Abstract
En el I Encuentro Nacional de Cátedras de Introducción a la Ingeniería, se identificaron tres distintos enfoques curriculares para las asignaturas introductorias a la profesión. En este trabajo se describe el enfoque de la cátedra Introducción a la Ingeniería de la Universidad Nacional de Córdoba, obligatoria para todas las carreras de ingeniería, y los aspectos que resultan interesantes para los estudiantes, considerando el rol a cumplir por la cátedra para motivar a los estudiantes y contribuir a la disminución de la deserción temprana de las carreras de ingeniería, según el resultado de una encuesta realizada.
