L'escena política europea ha estat marcada, especialment la darrera dècada, per la irrupció de les extremes dretes en el taulell de joc i el seu pes, cada cop major, en les estructures de govern; l'Estat espanyol, amb el sorgiment de Vox, no n'és cap excepció. Son diversos els autors que han assenyalat el neoliberalisme com a possible causa d'aquest auge. Així doncs, el present treball, a través de la revisió de diferent bibliografia acadèmica i l'anàlisi de programes electorals i manifestos de Vox, té la pretensió de determinar fins a quin punt, en el cas espanyol, l'extrema dreta ha sofert un gir neoliberal i fins a quin punt aquest es pot equiparar al viscut en la resta de països europeus.
