El hallazgo de nuevas inscripciones líbico-bereberes durante los últimos veinte años ha aportado\n\t\t\t\t un amplio corpus que permite comparar los signos empleados en las islas (El Hierro\n\t\t\t\t y Lanzarote, las de mayor número de textos), para comprobar si se constatan diferencias\n\t\t\t\t entre ellas. Estas dos islas, las más distantes del archipiélago, acusan además una diferencia\n\t\t\t\t en relación con la técnica empleada (incisión y picado) y con el contexto iconográfico en\n\t\t\t\t el que aparecen.
