Abstract
En 2018 se inauguró la nueva sala que alberga el Tesoro del Delfín en el Museo del Prado. Durante los cuatro años previos, se restauró la colección de los vasos junto con sus estuches originales. Al mismo tiempo, y de manera conjunta con otros departamentos, se realizó el estudio técnico de todos los materiales con los que están realizados los vasos ricos, cuyos resultados sirvieron tanto para determinar los tratamientos de restauración adecuados en cada caso como para profundizar en la historia del conjunto. En el proyecto de la sala, el Departamento de Restauración también formó parte del equipo que diseñó la vitrina y el nuevo espacio expositivo, aportando los requerimientos desde el punto de vista de la conservación preventiva de la colección expuesta
