Abstract
Le mémoire porte sur les aspects théoriques de l'écriture du roman historique. Il discute aussi des courants féministes contemporains existant lors de l'effervescence du roman historique québécois depuis 20 ans. La thèse permet de voir comment roman historique et féminisme, éléments contradictoires, apparaissent dans le roman historique contemporain. L'étude porte sur le phénomène social qu'est le féminisme et son influence sur l'écriture du roman historique populaire.
