En proposant une lecture cosmopolitique des migrations internationales, cet article s’intéresse au rôle des TIC dans l’émergence de nouvelles façons de « vivre ensemble » et d’agir à distance à l’ère du numérique. L’étude de l’usage d’Internet au sein des familles et des réseaux transnationaux des professionnels roumains à Toronto permet d’analyser – sous l’angle des habitus transnationaux – les transformations du lien social, des processus de socialisation et des identités engendrées par les TIC. En particulier, nous explorons les mécanismes à travers lesquels les migrants développent au quotidien un univers de vie transnational qui mise sur un régime ubiquitaire des communications à distance.
